Being on the water, fishing and beach trips are an essential part of Sastamala's summer – and they attract people year-round to enjoy the tranquility of nature.
Sastamala is traversed by extensive and beautiful waterways, the most well-known of which are Rautavesi, Kulovesi and Liekovesi. The water area belonging to the Kokemäenjoki River offers excellent conditions for rowing, fishing and outdoor recreation. There is plenty of shoreline for summer beach days as well as peaceful autumn excursions.
